Welcome to TC's Playhouse!
Where we offer quality, dependable, nurturing child care. We have an inviting playroom with fun, educational learning centers in a home environment and a large fenced yard with an abundance of toys for active play. All meals and snacks are nutritionally balanced in accordance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program. With our low child to teacher ratios we strive to build relationships with families and ultimately be your child's home away from home where you can rest assured they are well taken care of while you're away.

Our Focus
Play Based Learning
Providing children with opportunities for play provides so much more than a few hours of ‘fun’. Play also allows children to relax, let off steam, develop social skills such as concentration and co-operation, encourages the development of the imagination, develops motor skills and teaches self expression. We also incorporate kindergarten readiness skills such as taking turns, following directions, and waiting in line.
Healthy Meals and Snacks
Children are offered a variety of healthy food choices to set them up for life long healthy eating habits. Every breakfast incudes a grain, a fruit, and milk. Lunch and dinner consist of a grain, a fruit, a vegetable, a protein, and milk. Snacks are served as well. We encourage the consumption of water, keeping sugar at a minimum, and incorporating whole grains.
Preschool
Children aged 2 years & 9 months by September 1st will participate in our preschool curriculum free of charge. Preschool is an important step in kindergarten readiness. We will work on skills such as pencil grip, scissor skills, and following directions. Plus we will ensure children know their ABC's, 123's, shapes & colors. We follow the Scholastic My Big World theme structure and base curriculum around it.
